4 of Patanjali's 8 LIMBS of yoga (The Yoga Sutras) describe the process of meditation--sensory withdrawal, concentration, sustained concentration, merger with infinite/bliss. 


TIPS FOR MEDITATING: 

GET COMFORTABLE SUPPORT YOUR SPINE CHIN IN, CHEST OUT USE FOCAL POINTS BREATHE , WATCH THOUGHTS, LET GO, FOCUS, REFOCUS, LET GO... 

TRY FOR 10 MINUTES. ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS IS GOOD.
