Gretchen Cline (Gurubanda Kaur), Ph.D., E-RYT, certified Yoga Therapist and Level II Kundalini Yoga instructor, has studied yoga, meditation, Ayurveda and healing in depth through Hatha Yoga, Integrative Yoga Therapy, and 3HO International Kundalini Yoga programs.
Currently, enrolled in Level 3 of the International (KYRI) Aquarian Teacher Trainer Programs and the KRI-A Teaching Academy, Gurubanda is writing a book about the healing effects of Kundalini Yoga on the grieving process and hopes to develop a KY training series on the grieving process.
In 2007 she created a transferable college credit course (PEA 200: Kundalini Yoga) for Muskegon Community College, Muskegon, MI, which she has taught continuously for 16 years and where she taught English and Women and Gender Studies full time. Presently, she teaches KY at her home studio and at the college. Gurubanda has taught hundreds of classes and workshops to a wide range of students—from children to seniors to athletes to chemotherapy patients to troubled teens in the Ottawa and Muskegon County detention centers. Gurubanda is committed to teaching the healing, transformative, and elevating tools of Kundalini Yoga.
She enjoys hiking, painting, and creating art, and recently, joined a sacred gong band, BluePearl Wave, playing gigs to vibrate healing light.

Kundalini Yoga consists of postures

sequence to clear energy channels and prepare the body-mind to manifest one’s awareness of his/her life force. When we directly raise the Kundalini by stimulating our glands and nerves, we activate chemicals in the brain, and we experience a shift in consciousness. The shift can be subtle and gradual or spectacular.
As you Begin a Kundalini Yoga practice, tune-in with yourself and align your mind with your practice: Inhale: May I be present while I practice; Exhale: And awakened to my well-being and soul’s home.
Kundalini Yoga classes suit different needs and levels, from gentle and restorative to more challenging and dynamic classes.

YOGA IS A PROCESS, NOT A POSE
When you relax into a Gong immersion and guide your awareness to inner listening, you allow your brain waves to shift into a relaxed state--similar to a dreamlike state. A deeper level of Consciousness opens: a doorway to Self discovery, Bliss, & Serenity
